Shopping cart math and shopping cart weight and measures were fun projects and she breezed through 12 pages in her workbook. Only 7 are required. When she enjoys learning something we follow her lead and go as far as she wants to explore. She has a knack for math! We built bridges out of blocks and explored weight bearing, made mud sculptures, built boats to float, painted, and took nature walks.

Week 10! October 27-31
Halloween Week! We picked out and carved pumpkins, made decorations, used our sewing and designing skills to work on her Monarch Fairy costume, and enjoyed family. Geography time was spent on her first shipment of Little Passports World Passport and the flags of the world. Science included an Octopus unit study, animals of different continents via World Passport, and our selections from her text. In history we read about and watched videos on China, Marco Polo, and Falconry.
