We are continuing our studies of women in history. She is still loving the stories of female inventors and spends time sketching, mapping, and planning elaborate play scenes and thinking about how things in her life work. Thankful to have Google at hand to research all of her questions and give an answer quickly. Girls Think of Everything is our latest source, we are happy to have added it to her library.
Piano is going well. She is still excited to practice and to compose new pieces. We learned new songs this week and listened to music from China as part of geography studies.
At Gymnastics she has almost mastered a back flip! I have great video but can't seem to get them to upload here.
Always interested in construction! A new Tegu model. This one is the duck.
This week we used a few online resources to supplement our reading in science and geography and played a phonics game.
She has been fascinated with learning about addition via number lines.
She created more sentences with our flashcards to tell stories.
We took our horses out bareback trail riding a few times. Her sitting trot is very good now and she stays out of Angel's mouth.
We picked the last of the summer flowers.
