Can't believe she is old enough for kindergarten. We have been working on preschool skills for months now but this is something entirely different for a momma. After much research and thought we finally decided on a curriculum. We have been having a great time using Timberdoodle Elite package. Here are a few snapshots of what our first week has looked like:
She has always been fascinated by music and plays daily on her large keyboard so we enrolled her in weekly piano lessons. We were happy to meet another homeschool family with a girl her age who had the lesson before us.
On Tuesdays we go to gymnastics. She's been going since the first of June this year and is really progressing and she has so much fun. It has improved her listening skills, her balance and confidence in her body.
Friday we met with a large homeschool group in Martin for a playgroup at the park. We met so many new friends and I learned a lot about local resources. Excited for the co op classes to start.
